Shadows are really large in exported PNG file

Don't know the answer but I noticed that the shadow looks normal if you
export the figure with a smaller dpi (for instance, dpi=100 works well).

Can this please be turned into an issue on gh? The dependency on the dpi
suggests a bug in the transform/dpi related code.
