I am trying to put two regression lines on one scatter plot, but the dashes on the lines are inconsistent. I get different length dashes in different spots, and this won't be acceptable for publication I imagine. Do you have nay idea of what could be causing this? I've thought it could be related to the backend but all of them seem to produce the same result. Thanks.

Could you please include an image for us to see? It would also be useful to know which version of matplotlib you are using and also any relevant source code.
