We are in dire need of GSOC mentors this year and have to let numfocus know by February 10th
If anything on the project list piques your interest (Projects page - HackMD) or there’s a long standing project you’d like to mentor, please let me know.
Being a mentor typically averages out to about 8-10hrs/wk of work:

a weekly or biweekly 1-2 hr check-in meeting
-
reviewing mentees PRs
-
being available on chat to answer the mentees questions
-
filling out two status reports for google
Mentoring is always done with at least one other mentor, in this situation likely me, and you are welcome to limit your scope to just technical questions. If you are interested, please let me know.
