I am using Eclipse IDE for Java Developers with PyDev on Ubuntu 12.04 and I am quite new to Ubuntu and Eclipse. Can you guide me as to hos to update matplotlib in PyDev in Eclipse?

To the best of my knowledge, you just need to update matplotlib in
Ubuntu. If you're looking to upgrade to a development version, the use
the instructions here:
