I'm on Win32 with Python 2.4.
For this I see both an egg and an installer.
The installer is being downloaded 15 times as often.
What are the considerations?

I thought the egg was the simpler choice:
can't it just be put on site-packages and that's that?
But I'm not very familiar with eggs.
Is the issue that one may wish to modify the source,
and the egg doesn't give direct access to that?
