Hi! I’m Mohit, a 2nd-year Computer Science and Engineering student at VIT Bhopal University.

I am passionate about open-source development, Python, and building efficient tools. Recently, I have been actively contributing to Matplotlib, specifically focusing on fixing bugs and improving the performance of interactive widgets (like the Cursor) using blitting.

Outside of open source, I love participating in hackathons (Top 10 Finalist at the ShikshaLokam National Hackathon 2026) and building full-stack projects like AI-driven platforms.

I’m currently a prospective GSoC 2026 student. I am really enjoying collaborating with the Matplotlib community and am excited to keep learning!
