I would like to activate the zoom tool on a figure after a plot, like 'zoom on' does in Matlab. I guess it should be quite easy but I didn't find how to do. I saw a 'zoom' method for the 'NavigationToolbar2' class that seems to be what I am looking for but I don't how to use this...
Has someone already achieved this?

Zooming is available via the widgets at the bottom of the plot menu by
default.
