Well,
actually i’m using Ubuntu at work on a virtual machine, and the svn copy is in a partition mounted at boot by a line in /etc/fstab.
If i remember correctly this filesystem is mounted with options users. I’m at home now, i’ll try with the exec option tomorrow.
