Hi,
please find here a patch by Aurelien Jarno <aurel32@...12...>,
that allow matplotlib to build on Debian GNU/kFreeBSD systems[1].
This patch has been included in the official Debian package[2].
We are glad to receive comments and suggestions about the Debian
packaging of matplotlib.
