please is there any one can tell me if it's possible in mplot3d to plot 3d
triangular mesh model with a colormap different from the Z variable. I
don't find example in tutorial for this.

No, this is not possible. Support for triangular mesh functions in mplot3d is currently very limited.

If Mayavi is an option, there is a triangular mesh function available:

It is a pity, because it is very useful to plot simulation result on
irugular 3d grid.
