some problems:
from matplotlib.matlab import * doesn’t work in the samples (see examples-0.73.zip)
from matplotlib.pylab import * works well.
On stdout, an error appears with WXAgg or WX backends:
File “C:\python23\Lib\site-packages\wx-2.5.4-msw-ansi\wx_windows.py”, line 484, in init
newobj = windows.new_Frame(*args, **kwargs)
wx._core.PyNoAppError: The wx.App object must be created first!
WXpython2.5.4.1 is perhaps the error source.
