live plot templete for newbie

Hi Everyone

I would like to create a live plot to plot data coming from a data port, such as a serial port.

I am still very new to Matplotlib and a template to work from would really help.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Maybe you could be more precise, it’s difficult to guess!

Maybe you just want to do something similar to the anim.py example?
Maybe you want to build an bigger application, you should look at embedding in wxpython… cf wxmpl…

For data acquisition on the serial, maybe http://pyserial.sourceforge.net/ would help you.
