Inclusion in RHEL6

FYI,

I was just looking through the package list for the newly released RHEL 6. matplotlib version 0.99.1.2 has been included, along with numpy 1.3 and python 2.6.5. I did not see scipy and ipython, however.

Congrats for fiinally getting included in RHEL!

Thanks for letting us know -- frankly I'm astonished it took this
long. We've been in debian for years. I'm even more surprised by the
omission of ipython and scipy -- both of these packages have been in
debian for at least 7 years, i think. I guess it's true what they
say: the enterprise moves slowly!
