I think there is a bug in the definition of get_visible in the artist.py
def get_visible(self, b):
"return the artist's visiblity"
return self._visible
I do not see the utilitiy of the b variable. Is it to keep some kind of scheme ? or just a left over from set_visible ?
By the way on which backend is the alpha channel supported
