After some positive feedback and subsequent discussion on the wxPython users list, I decided to add a wiki page for the Fourier Demo I posted earlier:

Robin, et. al., do you think this warrants moving up into a new category (e.g. RecipesMatplotlib) in the Recipes section? I added it in the RecipesOther but there are so many recipes there that it seems kind of buried.

Thanks for the reminder Tom -- the demo is indeed very nice but it
stuck in the back of my inbox. I added it to mpl svn in
examples/user_interfaces/fourier_demo_wx.py
