corrupt fonts problem

Hello,

Matplotlib does not like one (or more) of my fonts. Since I own a
considerable set it is very hard to find out which one violates the
requirements. Is it possible to let matplotlib which font is the
problem?

Thanks

You can set the rcParam "verbose.level" to "debug-annoying". Then, when it runs through all of your fonts, it should be clear which one caused the problem.

Note that I'm in the process of rewriting large parts of the font infrastructure as part of MEP14, so these sorts of things should hopefully be less common in the future.
