We have migrated the development repository from CVS to svn. You can
now get the latest source tree with

  svn co https://svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/matplotlib/trunk/matplotlib

The CVS tree is now dead and should not be used.

Is it possbile to update this page matplotlib download | SourceForge.net or is the "CVS" string hard-coded in sourceforge projets pages (it would be sad)?
